Meet Tim Niemeyer
I founded Pools of Dreams because I genuinely enjoy the process of taking a homeowner's ideas for their backyard and developing something that feels right for their home and how they actually want to use the space. Every property is different. Every family uses their outdoor space differently. Getting that right takes more than a good design — it takes listening, planning, and staying involved through the entire build.
After graduating high school just outside Houston, I served in the United States Army and was deployed to Iraq in 2003. Following my military service, I spent 15 years in law enforcement, including leadership roles that required careful planning, clear communication, and accountability for outcomes. Those experiences shaped how I run this business — the structure, the follow-through, and the standards I hold myself and my team to.

A Family-Operated Business with Professional Standards
Pools of Dreams is a family-operated design-build firm. My son Cameron works directly with homeowners to bring their vision to life through detailed 3D renderings — so you can see and refine your design before a single shovel hits the ground. My wife Danielle keeps operations organized and running smoothly behind the scenes. We are a small team by choice, and that is exactly how we like it. You get the care of a family business and the standards of a professional firm.
